Interested in seeing more about Pines Calyx construction? Great - we’ve amassed around 4000 pictures of the construction process since The Pines Calyx was started in March 2005.

In & around The Pines Calyx - The final details have been added and the landscaping is bedding down.

Pictures of the chalk walls that make up most of Pines Calyx structure. These show the shuttering, ramming process and finishing.

The Staircase is remarkable as it is a self supporting set of arches made is the same style as the timbrel vaulted roofs used for Pines Calyx’ domes.

This set is not for the feint-hearted. There are over 80 pictures in this slideshow, but is shows the whole project, from the moment ground was prepared through to the finished building.
